Teacher Sharing Evenings

Have you explored Integrative Thinking in your classroom and want to delve deeper?

Join us for a Teacher Sharing evening. Every semester, I-Think hosts an informal evening of idea-sharing and peer-to-peer learning in Integrative Thinking. If you're curious about how other teachers apply Integrative Thinking concepts in their classrooms, or if you have ideas but aren't quite sure where to start, this evening is for you!

Here's our typical agenda:
       5:30 - 6:00pm   Light dinner
       6:00 - 6:15pm   Welcome and introductions
       6:15 - 7:00pm   Teachers sharing their work around a theme
       7:00 - 8:30pm   Curriculum and activity design for your classroom and school

From time to time, we'll choose specific age groups or subject areas to explore more deeply. 

The cost of the evening is $25 and includes a light dinner and refreshments.

Grade 2 students explore 'What causes a bully to bully?'

Students use a causal model to better understand what causes a bully. Their thinking and exploration led the students to recognize that bullies may bully due to other factors in their life, beyond their control. Students went on to ask: How might we show a bully empathy so that we can let them know they care about them too?

There is underground parking at Rotman and street parking in the area. We recommend taking public transit, as we are close to several routes. We are approximately a five minute walk south of St. George subway station, a 10 minute walk north of the 506 College streetcar and one minute north of the 94 Wellesley bus.


$25 plus HST per person, includes a light dinner.
